About Michael Rogovsky

Michael has exhibited in New York, Boston, Beverly Hills, Philadelphia and Provincetown. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Stedman Art Gallery at Rutgers University, the university collection at the University of Maryland and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum as well as in private collections in the United States and Canada.

He has been commissioned to create Murals in a number of Venues including the mural “Sunset” ~ measuring over Thirty feet long ~ painted for the A.D.I. unit at Butler Hospital ~ Providence R.I.. Also at Butler Hospital is the five feet by nine feet Mural “Morning Light” in the Butler Hospital Senior Treatment Center, Providence R. I., which is a gift to Butler Hospital by the President Emeritus of Fleet Bank.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in Art Education and his Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Maryland in Painting and Drawing.

His paintings have been included In Lois Griffel’s book, “Painting the Impressionist Landscape,” in an article in “American Artist Magazine,” and in the German magazine “Euros 16.”

Michael Rogovsky has the high honor of having his painting “Reflection” oil on canvas, 30″x40″ chosen to be in the exhibit honoring the 25th anniversary of Kanagawa’s art exchange program with the state of Maryland.
